The discovery of USANA Health Sciences as both a product and a business has literally changed my life and that of my family in a multitude of ways. As an upside-down single mother of 6 homeschool children, I wanted to work home-based, wanted a company of integrity, and needed a power business. When I realized who Dr. Myron Wentz was, the new bar which had been set by the USANA products, and the caliber of people who were involved, I knew I had found not only my power business, but the products that would protect my family’s health for life!
Today, years later, I realize I received more than I could ever have dreamed! My family has such incredible health that we play tennis, ride bikes, hike, roller blade, dance, lift weights, and spend hours together in the sunshine which means so much to us! Great health is a gift we are grateful for every single day! And I was able to finish raising my children while staying home with them, homeschooling them, being involved with their activities and dreams, and giving them the opportunities they deserved through the business of USANA! I realize what a special gift that has also been because very few single mothers have this lifestyle! We are thankful beyond words for this gift!
There is another side to USANA that many miss at the beginning. This is the relationship side of the USANA Family! We now have thousands of friends from around the world because we embraced the Dr.Wentz Vision of True Health! We have a common bond as we are moving forward together helping people live better lives and just become happier, healthier people! When people are not so stressed with their health issues or their financial struggles, they can begin to actually LIVE and DREAM and BECOME all they want to become and DO all they would love to do! It’s very exciting to be part of this process with new friends and old ones!
Lastly, we are very involved in the outreach potential of USANA. Dr. Wentz has teamed us up with one of the most effective and meaningful charities in the world, Children’s Hunger Fund! As we team up together in the USANA family, we can make such a huge impact on the children around the world who are suffering. This project has truly touched all of us dramatically in USANA!
As the 2009 Dr. Wentz Vision Award Winner, I want to say what an honor it has been to be involved with a company of true integrity and with a founder who recently was awarded the Albert Einstein Award for Outstanding Achievement in Life Sciences, and who has believed in this vision so much, but has never taken a penny of salary from this company. It has been an incredible blessing to watch USANA named the “Top-Rated” Supplements in the world and be voted the #1 Company in this industry for 10 years in a row!
As a professional business woman and as a single mother, I say thank you to USANA and Dr.Wentz for this incredible gift of health and freedom! And I thank the beautiful people who make up my team and this USANA family!
